Renal Pathology Overview

Our renal pathology service is described in detail by Alexander Gallan, MD, along with the advantages of working with Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories.

Consultations and Case Reviews

With an emphasis on patient centered biopsy interpretation, our concierge level renal pathology service consists of individualized consultation for each case, accurate and actionable diagnoses within 24 hours of receipt, and rapid communication of preliminary results to the treating physician.

Our clients have direct access to our renal pathologist by phone, text messaging, email, and/or video conference for additional follow up or clinicopathologic discussions. In-person or virtual kidney biopsy conferences can be scheduled.

Specialized Testing

In addition to routine renal pathology processing, additional specialized tests include:

  • PLA2R tissue testing
  • IgG subclass analysis
  • Paraffin immunofluorescence
