WDL Executive Leadership Team

Steve Serota

Steve is the President and Chief Operating Officer for Wisconsin Diagnostic Laboratories (WDL). Prior to joining WDL, he oversaw Surgical Services, Specialty Pharmacy and Laboratory Services for Northwestern Medicine, and previously led Perioperative Services for Rush University Medical Center. Steve has a MS in Health System Administration from Rush University. When not working to optimize patient-centered laboratory medicine, he enjoys coaching and playing sports as well as spending time with his wife, Jen, their three kids Emma, Lily and Sam, and two dogs, Duffy and Miller.

 

Robin Herbner

Robin is the Chief Administrative Officer at WDL, and is responsible for the lab's administrative, financial and outreach activities . Prior to joining WDL, Robin held financial planning and sales support roles with QuadMed and Assisted Living Concepts. She started her career in public accounting with Andersen and Grant Thornton as an auditor serving healthcare and nonprofit organizations. Robin earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Marquette University and is a Certified Public Accountant. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, baking and spending time with her family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mike Baron

Mike is the Executive Director of Clinical Laboratory Operations at WDL. He brings over 30 years of experience supporting laboratory teams in achieving success, with 22 years in the U.S. Army as an active and Reserve Forces officer leading soldiers in various roles before retiring from the Army in 2016 as a Lieutenant Colonel. Mike has an MBA and an MS in Biology. He is an avid marathon runner and enjoys fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren at the family cabin.

Ceil Duclon

Ceil is the Executive Director of Laboratory Services at Froedtert Health. Over many years, her role has expanded to include all of the laboratories associated with Froedtert Health. She leads multiple operational teams collaborating to meet our common goal of patient-centered care, to ensure patients are provided with the right test, at the right time. Ceil has an MS in Health Care Administration/Management. In her time away from work, she enjoys traveling to visit her children and grandchildren and other outdoor activities like sports and camping.
